Petals of the Rose

I was introduced to this game many years ago. The objective is to calculate the appropriate score for a die roll. The rules are simple: roll five dice and calculate the score.

How do you calculate the score? That's the question! Roll the dice, make your guess, then I'll tell you if you were right or wrong.

If you were wrong, I will tell you the correct answer. Your only hint is the name of the game: Count only the petals of the rose.
